About Us

Diana Kuleshova, creator of miniature Teddy Bear-style plush toys for over 6 years.

I design handmade miniature toys, original sewing patterns, and video tutorials dedicated to creating Teddy Bear toys.

I also offer creative workshops for adults to learn how to sew plush toys, as well as a special creative duo workshop where children, accompanied by their parents, make their first creations together.

Every toy I create is a unique, original piece, made entirely by hand, from the initial idea to the final stitch.

The process begins with sculpting a model in plasticine, which I use to create a sewing pattern. Each piece is then sewn and filled with wood shavings, after which I shape the plush toy’s expression and face. The toy is assembled entirely by hand. Every stage of production is done manually.

I also make the clothes and shoes for each toy, sewing them entirely by hand.

I use high-quality, eco-friendly materials: mainly viscose and natural wood shavings. The shavings are produced in the Rhône-Alpes region, the threads are made in France, the viscose comes from French-Italian production, and the supplies come from Germany.

Having moved to Lyon from abroad two years ago, I am developing my creative business in the field of handmade toys and regularly take part in international exhibitions dedicated to Teddy Bear artists. This year, I also participated in the Christmas market in Lyon’s 8th arrondissement.

My main need as a member of Labo des Créations would be to encourage personal and professional connections with local artisans and creators. As a foreigner, I miss having ties with creators in the Lyon metropolitan area: sharing experiences, exchanging skills, discussing the realities of artisan work in France, and building lasting connections.

I would therefore like Labo des Créations to offer more opportunities for artisans in the area to meet, share ideas, and collaborate, helping to strengthen a sense of community and mutual enrichment.
